Originally from South Africa, the Chicago area has been Liesel’s home for the past 25 years. She has lived in both the city and Northbrook before settling in Riverwoods with her husband, two sons and Maltipoo.
Liesel has a deep love of community and has served on the boards of Solomon Schechter Day School and Na’amat USA, and has been a strong advocate and fundraiser for Breakthrough T1D. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, paddle, and pickleball, which keep her active and connected with friends. Liesel also loves traveling and spending quality time with her family.
