Originally from South Africa, Liesel has called the Chicago area her home for the past 23 years. She resides in Riverwoods with her husband Larry and their two sons, after having lived in both the city and Northbrook.
With an extensive career in the benefits consulting industry, Liesel managed high-profile client relationships and led large multidisciplinary national teams. More recently, she has focused on overseeing her family business and commercial properties in South Africa. Her strong background in business and real estate, coupled with her dedication to professionalism and client satisfaction, distinguishes her as a trusted partner in the real estate process.
Liesel is deeply committed to giving back to the community and has a long history of lay leadership. She has served on the boards of Solomon Schechter Day School and Na’amat USA. Moreover, she actively supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, both as an advocate and fundraiser, showcasing her passion for important causes.
During her free time, Liesel can often be found on a court engaging in her favorite sports such as tennis, paddle, and pickleball. These activities not only keep her active but also provide an opportunity to connect with friends. Additionally, Liesel enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and maltipoo, Georgie.
